How To Prepare Delicious Okra Soup

A lot of Nigerians are always worried about how Okra soup is being prepared, most times some ladies do not get the method. No need to worry here you will get full details on how it is being prepared.

OKROIt is popular among the Yoruba region and can be prepared in various ways. It is either prepare with pepper mixture (Ila Alasepo in Yoruba) or you prepare it without pepper. Okro can be taken with any swallow but it is preferable with Eba.

Okro soup is really simple to prepare, below is a  recipe for the pepper-mixed version (Ila Alasepo):
Ingredients
Okro
Fish
Pepper
Palm oil
Cray fish
Seasoning
Cow skin[pomo]
Locus
Dry fishHow It Is Prepared
Step 1: Blend okro and pepper together
Step 2: Put your pot on the fire and add palm oil to it and water
Step 3: Immediately add seasoning, grounded cray fish, titus fish, cow skin and locust beans
Step 4: leave it to steam for 5 to 7 mins
Step 5: Remove the titus fish so it does not scatter when staring the soup.
Step 6: After that, add the dry fish to it
Step 7: Leave it for a while and add the okro that was blended a while ago
Step 8: Mix everything well and leave it to steam for 5 mins
Step 9: Add the titus fish that was removed before and mix it again
Your Okro soup is ready to pair with any swallow of your choice.
