Davido Is No Longer The Owner Of HKN! – Sina Rambo

Sina Rambo has revealed that Davido is no longer a stakeholder at HKN.

In a recent chat with Raro Lae, Rambo said: “HKN is owned by Chairman HKN right now, I mean HKN is family, Davido was part of the family but he always wanted to start his own personal label and develop talents from root. Davido is like any big artiste who is going to have many ventures but as far as HKN is concerned, he just doesn’t have any shares anymore, but it’s family.”  Davido launched his imprint, Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) in 2016, and the record label presently houses Dremo, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Yonda. And Nelly signed Idowest and Sinzu.

Davido formerly led the HKN Gang which he co-owned with Sina Rambo and his brother, Adewale Adeleke. Sina Rambo who’s still signed to HKN recently teamed up with Olamide for his new song, “Baba Sina Rambo,” and he’s revealed the music video shot by Clarence Peters will be released anytime soon. “The record (Baba Sina Rambo) is not just about my dad, (Senator Ademola Adeleke) but my family legacy… I was actually in the States and Olamide recorded the song and he sent it to me, he said Yo, I want you to listen to this, you just might like it, and I liked it,” said Rambo who also has a low-key record label named Naija Boy Yankee Swag (NBYS).
