With the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus in the country a lot of Nigerians are scared and there is a lot of panic going on. The former vice president of the country Atiku Abubakar took to his Twitter page to admonish Nigerians to be calm and take necessary precautions.

According to him the virus is not a death sentence so there is no need to panic or be afraid. He also went on to commend Governor El Rufai of Kaduna State for publicly stating their positive test results.

‘I wish to recommend the examples of Governors @SenBalaMohammed @elrufai and CG@nigimmigration Babandede MFR for their disclosure. We can beat this pandemic by being open about it, educating our people, isolation and testing. It is not a death sentence, we will all be fine.  Be safe; wash your hands, keep social distance and avoid large gatherings. -AA #COVID19Nigeria.
