Political activist Reno Omokri has advised President Buhari to consider an Igbo man as a replacement for the late chief of Army staff Late General Attahiru. The former COAS passed away on Friday alongside 10 others from a jet crash.
The social commentator in a post shared on his Instagram page explained that the best way to fight secessionists in the South-East is not by guns, helicopter but by development. The activist told the president to stop his nepotism and balance out his appointment by replacing the late COAS with an Igbo man.
Reno shared that the president has not visited the Igbo part of the country since the 2019 elections and needs to lose his Igbophobia. He encouraged the President to make Igbo monarchs pro-chancellors of federal universities in Northern Nigeria, encourage a major political party to consider an Igbo Presidential candidate.
