Burna Boy Not Up To My Standard – Brymo

Singer Ọlawale Ọlọfọrọ, popularly known as Brymo, has stated colleague Burna Boy is not musically up to his standard.

He stated this on Curiosity Made Me Ask hosted by skit maker, Bae U Barbie, while reacting to Burna Boy’s diss freestyle where he insinuated that Brymo has “fallen off.”

“Is it [the diss freestyle] not Burna Boy lyrics? But he would like to know that nothing in this world would put his name in my song. He is not up to my standard,” the singer said.

“I’m not proud enough. I’m probably the finest vocalist on the continent. Better than anybody. I’m not thinking. I know this,” he said.

KOKO TV NG reported that Burna Boy dissed Brymo during a freestyle with his band in October last year after Brymo accused him of song theft.

He alleged that Burna Boy’s ‘City Boys’ and ‘I Told Them’ sampled the title track of his upcoming album, ‘Macabre’.
