Burna Boy Gifted A Land And N10million Alongside Other Musicians By Governor Wike

Grammy award winner, Burna Boy who recently visited his state, Rivers state has been gifted the sum of N10million at the homecoming party organized for him which took place yesterday. Other musicians who performed at the party were also given the same amount of money, all given by the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike.BURNA BOYThough, other reports say he was also given a plot of land to build for himself a home.
The talented artiste who hails originally from Rivers state has surely made not just his state proud but also his country and Africa at large by bagging home a Grammy from the just concluded 63rd Grammy awards ceremony.
Recall that at the Grammy ceremony held on the 14th of March, 2021, the African giant and Wizkid both won Grammies.

While the former was for Best Global Music Album with his 2020 project ‘Twice as Tall‘, the latter won for his feature on Beyonce’s ‘Brown Skin Girl’, which won the award for Best Video.
During the closing moments of an event where Burna Boy, the governor, and most other attendees were not wearing face masks in a COVID-19 stricken world, Wike said: “Those of you who have come to play, whatever you have agreed with the ministry of culture and tourism is not my business. All of you that have come today and the Niger Delta people that have come to play today to show the talent you have, I’m very proud of you. All of you will go home with N10million each, he added to loud cheers from the audience.
