Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has said that president Muhammad Buhari has something to do with the killing of Aguiyi Irons 58 years ago.
He tweeted, “58 years ago today Gen. Aguiyi-Ironsi the Supreme Commander of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Col. Francis Fajuyi, the military Governor of the old Western Region and 300 Igbo army officers were murdered in the northern officers revenge coup of July 29th 1966.”
“52 years ago today Gen. Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi the Supreme Commander of the Nigerian Armed Forces, Col. Francis Adekunle Fajuyi, the military Governor of the old Western Region and 300 Igbo army officers were murdered in the northern officers revenge coup of July 29th 1966,” Fani-Kayode added.
