Former Senator of the Federal republic of Nigeria, Chief Ayantayo Ayandele is dead.
The former lawmaker and Agbaakin of Ogbomosoland, who died last week Friday, served as Chairman of the Ogbomoso Local Government Area in Oyo state during the third democratic republic. He also served as a Commissioner for Education in Oyo state.
Former Oyo State Governor, Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala, who visited the family of the late Senator in Ibadan yesterday, described Chief Ayantayo’s death as a “personal loss” to him.
In his condolence letter to the family, Alao-Akala said the former lawmaker was “an epitome of selfless service, humanness, and philanthropy, who devoted the greater part of his life to humanity.”
