Boomerang! Nigeria Drops To 48th Position In The Latest FIFA Global Ranking

The Super Eagles of Nigeria sank further to the 48th position in the latest FIFA global ranking.

The continuous streak of poor results gathered by the Eagles in almost all 5 friendly matches over the past few months eventually reflected in their global recognition as the Super Eagles drifted downwards in the latest FIFA ranking.

Nigeria sloped from sixth to seventh position in Africa and from 47th to 48th position in the world. 2010 world-cup quarter finalist, Ghana, literally took Nigeria’s position in all areas, as they moved to 6th in Africa and 47th in the world.
The Super Eagles will be presented with the grand opportunity to start redeeming themselves when they go head-to-head against Croatia on the 16th of June, in the first match of their world cup group stage series.
