Andres Iniesta Completes Transfer To Vissel Kobe


Barcelona Legend, Andres Iniesta has completed his transfer to Japanese top-flight side, Vissel Kobe, on Thursday.
The 34-year-old play-maker was given a heartwarming farewell ceremony by the La Liga winners last-week, after which he had a special moment to himself to walk round the camp Nou stadium for the last time as a Barcelona player.

Iniesta sealed his transfer for an undisclosed fee to the top Asian side, in a deal that will reportedly keep him at the club for several years. On Wednesday night, Iniesta was spotted in an aircraft with Mr. Hiroshi Mikitani, the owner of Vissel Kobe and founder of the Rakuten group.

Confirming Iniesta’s transfer, Mr. Hiroshi said: “By giving both fans and players the opportunity to see Iniesta’s world-class play style and technique, we believe his decision to come to Japan will have a major impact on not just Vissel Kobe, but on football in Japan as well as the whole of Asia. As the ‘New Vissel Kobe,’ we will work to achieve our goal of the becoming the No.1 club in Asia.”
