According reports, Akwa Ibom House of Assembly speaker, Onofiok Luke, has come out to accuse the former governor of the state, Godwill Akpabio of being after his life, according to him the ex-governor should be held responsible if anything happens to him. He claimed that a sacked lawmaker from Essien Udim local government area of the state stormed the house of assembly with a gun and threatened to kill him, in his words;
“My dear fathers, I want to once again alert all of you that Senator Godswill Akpabio is after my life. “If any should happen to me today (God forbid!), hold him responsible. “When Nse Ntuen forced his way here last week, he approached one of my aides with a guy and threatened that he was ready to gun me down on behalf of Senator Godswill Akpabio. “So I want the whole world to hear.”
