Again, Bandits Kidnap Female Students In Mando, Kaduna

Kidnappings is gradually becoming the order of the day, especially in Northern Nigeria as again, gunmen have reportedly abducted students of the Federal College of Forestry Mechanisation in Mando area of Kaduna State.
This is coming a few days after the kidnapped Zamfara girls were returned safely and without any ransome paid to the bandits.
The Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Mohammed Jalige reportedly confirmed this latest ugly incidence to Daily Trust, saying, however, that the exact number of students abducted during the Mando attack is unknown.
“They were abducted last night, we have no details of the number of students,” Daily Trust reported ASP Jalige said, adding that the Police is working with the Nigerian Army to trace the kidnappers and rescue the students.

In its report, the BBC said a witness reported that half of the female students were taken but not a single male was abducted. The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, also confirmed the incident, saying investigation is ongoing.
