Nigerian lawyer Tope Akinyode, who sued Presidential Aspirant and businessman Adamu Garba for filing a case against Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey for weighing in on the #EndSARS protests, has given an update on the case.
Recall that Adamu had also given an update on his filed suit, saying the first hearing will hold before the end of the month – November. Taking to the streets of Twitter, Tope Akinyode said neither Adamu nor his lawyers showed up in Court, without reasons for absence. The case has then been adjourned for hearing in April, 2021.

“BREAKING: I was at the Federal High Court today to defend Adamu Garba’a lawsuit against @jack and @Twitter. However, @adamugarba & his lawyers failed to show up in Court without given reasons & the Court has now adjourned case to 22nd April, 2021“, he tweeted.
