Buhari, Femi Gbaja, NIDCOM, Others, Send Condolences As Abike Dabiri Loses Mom

Condolences are in order for the Chair and CEO of the Nigerians In Disapora Commission NIDCOM, Abike Dabiri-Erewa on the passing of her mother, Alhaja Sadiat Abeke Erogbogbo.
Alhaja Erogbogbo had passed on to the great beyond on the 1st of February. The cause of the death of the retired teacher and businesswoman who would have marked her 91st on the 6th of June was, however, not made known.Alhaja Erogbogbo, Abike Dabiris mom
Sending words of comfort, President Muhammadu Buhari, in a statement by his spokesman, Garba Shehu, condoled with the NIDCOM boss, other children, grandchildren and great grandchildren of the departed. Buhari described Alhaja Erogbogbo as a well-rounded Nigerian, born in Kano, schooled in Lagos, and later taught in Kano, Lagos and Jos. He then prayed to God to grant her soul eternal rest and comfort those she left behind.

NIDCOM has also sent its condolences while the Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila paid a visit to the NIDCOM boss. “May Allah grant the family in particular and the Ummah, in general, the fortitude to bear the departure of a mother who gave birth to a Media icon/Mama Diaspora and a philanthropist”, NIDCOM said in a statement.
