DCP Abba Kyari has taken down the Facebook post explaining his relationship with Internet fraudster Hushpuppi. Last week the police Chief posted on his Facebook page a statement detailing his involvement with the Instagram celebrity.
In the statement, the Police officer explained that Hushpuppi reached out to the police two years ago, alleged that the life of his family members was threatened by one Vincent who was arrested but later released after it was realized that nobody’s life was threatened but it was a business deal gone wrong. The police boss also claimed that Hushpuppi once admired some of his outfits and sent N300,000 to his tailor to design the same outfit for him. He stressed that the money was paid directly to his tailor and not him.
The statement sparked up a lot of backlash on social media with many saying that there were too many loopholes in the story and there is more to the interaction between the two.
