Controversial American rapper, songwriter, producer and now Christian musician Kanye West makes more history as he wins his 20th Grammys Award tying him with Jay-Z, as he wins the award for the best Best Contemporary Christian Music Album of the year at the 2021 63rd Grammy Awards. 
A lot of the rapper’s fans were left shocked after he was announced as winning considering his behaviour to the previous plaques of the award that he won where he threw some of the plaques of the recording Music Academy award into the toilet and peed on it.
This is the first time Kanye West will be nominated in the Contemporary Gospel Christian category and he has walked in there and claimed the award in style for his work on the album “Jesus Is King”.
The rapper didn’t even honour the award ceremony nor did he attend it. Kanye has over the years created quite a number of chaos at the event dating back to 2009 when he rushed on stage to grab the mic and interrupted Taylor Swift’s award speech accusing the show or robbing Beyonce.
