Father’s day draws near again and a lot of people are wondering what to do and get their dads to make that day more special.
Father’s Day is a holiday of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. You dad might be late but if you have that male figure who is always there for you whenever you need help, then you can always celebrate them on father’s day. So here are 5 special things to do for your dad on father’s day;
Words Of Affirmation
Words of affirmation are words that communicate your love, appreciation, and respect for another person. They’re positive words and phrases used to uplift someone. You might say every time but it definitely hits differently when you tell them you love them on a day that they are celebrated. What’s more, these compliments and words of encouragement don’t have to be said directly to the person, it can be written down and given or sent to him. Ensure to tell your dad that you love and appreciate him.
As long as you can afford it, get your father a gift, no matter how little. The funny thing whatever you get them will appreciated by them because its the gesture they appreciate more than the gift.

Dance With Them
This is super fun, surprise them, turn on the radio and dance with them, most dads won’t see this coming. Or better still put on a song that celebrates fathers, like Papa by Johnny Drille, Dance With My Father by Luther Vandross etc and sing for them.
Take Them Out
You don’t have to take them to one expensive place, but as stated above is what matters is the gesture and intent.

Breakfast In Bed
Most dads will not see this coming especially if you wake up late all the time. On father’s day, shock him and get earlier than he does and prepare or order breakfast and serve him in bed.
