2019 Elections: Atiku Appoints Gbenga Daniels As Presidential Campaign Director

Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has launched his 2019 presidential bid by appointing former Ogun state governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniels, as his campaign director.
In a press statement released on Monday, the former vice president announced that Otunba Gbenga Daniels will be responsible for the personnel, resourcing and campaign staffing ahead of the highly anticipated election which is scheduled to hold in February 2019. See the press statement below:
I am in no doubt Otunba Gbenga Daniels is a very positive and welcome addition to our campaign and I look forward to working with him as he leads our campaign to victory in February 2019. Going forward, OGD as the Director General has overall responsibility for every aspect of the campaign. This includes mobilisation and organizing (delegates and supporters), publicity and communication, finance and expenditure. I am in the process of setting up a separate fund raising committee which will work alongside and complement the campaign finance structure.”
