Winner of the Bbnaija 2021, White Money came out to expose a high case of currency Racketeering where 700k was sold for N1 million Naira.
White Money expressed his displeasure over the recent crisis in Nigeria, following the currency redesign. He complained about the hardship common people now go through just to have access to the country’s currency notes. The superstar complained that while the banks refuse to issue out Naira notes, some unscrupulous elements have made a business out of selling brand new money for anyone who could pay their outrageous charges.

He cited a case he witnessed at a party where 7OO thousand Naira was sold for a whopping sum of One million Naira, with the perpetrators pocketing a whole 3OO thousand Naira.
“There is no money in the bank, both new and old notes. But I went to a party and saw N700k being sold for N1m. How did they get it? Who dey give them?”

This recent development threatened to destabilize the economic activities in the major parts of the country. People are left stranded at the various banks and ATM points because they have no access to their hard-earned cash.
