Police Requested For Money To Take Up Uwa’s Case – Sister

Vera Uwaila Omozuwa‘s sister has accused the police of demanding for ‘mobility fee’ before taking up the deceased case.
She made the allegation during a protest she led some Edo youths in to the State Police Headquarters.#Justice4Uwa: UNIBEN REACTS
Upon their reception, Uwaila’s sister revealed her disappointment in the Nigerian Police, alleging that some of the officers refused to take up the case when it was first reported until they were paid something. She added that her father went to the station in the community several times, but was told that they needed “mobilization money” for the case.
