After spending about 5 hours at the Police station, experiencing series of dragging on the floor, beatings and other forms of torture before his release at about 10:45pm, Oxlade’s manager Ojah Bee has developed a critical medical condition – Cerebral Edema – fluids builds up around the brain.
The Lagos based singer who had joined the Surulere protest on Monday and survived an injury took to the streets of Twitter to reveal this in a series of tweets, sharing a photo of the medical document confirming Ojah Bee’s medical condition.
According to him, the swell in Ojah Bee’s brain and the torture has led to him being unable to control his fingers. “I’m in shambles rn… I’m devastated I’m sad. See wetin dem do my brother. My brother has a swelling in his brain thanks to the Nigerian Police. Thank you nigerian government for failing the youth.”
