Zlat That! Ibrahimovic Trolls Cristiano Ronaldo Over Sublime Bicycle Kick Goal Against Juventus

Former Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has implied that his 40-yard screamer for LA Galaxy was better than Cristiano Ronaldo’s stunning overhead kick against Juventus in the Champions League. The Portuguese superstar inspired Real Madrid to a commanding 3-0 away win against the Serie A champions, with his second goal so good it even prompted Juve fans to applaud it.But not everyone was quite so impressed with Ronaldo’s effort, with Ibrahimovic jokingly suggesting that the Real star’s strike was a little too close to goal.In an appearance on ESPN’s Sportscenter on Tuesday night, Ibra was asked about Ronaldo’s goal and simply replied: ‘It was a nice goal, but he should try it from 40 meters.’ Zlatan scored from exactly that distance at the weekend as he made his debut against LAFC, scoring twice to help his new club turn around a 3-0 deficit. Speaking to Sportscenter, he continued: ‘I mean I’m still jetlagged. I’ve been here for four days, trying to pass the days with energy as much as possible but it hasn’t been easy. ‘But people approaching me and saying, “Welcome to LA, it was a crazy goal, it was a crazy game” and all positive things so I just feel happy and welcome.’
