London’s Metropolitan Police force has released a surveillance camera footage showing a jogger in shorts and T-shirt intentionally banging into a pedestrian, who tumbles in front of a double-decker London bus. The 33-year-old woman’s head and body can be seen falling into the path of the oncoming bus, but the woman is somehow able to balance herself before being hit by the bus’ front wheel.
Passengers on board the bus rushed to help the woman who sustained minor injuries. According to Sergeant Mat Knowles, it was only due to the superb quick reactions of the bus driver that she was not hit by the vehicle. Police said the woman saw the jogger running back across the bridge about 15 minutes later and tried in vain to speak to him. The surveillance footage was released by the police in an effort to seek the public’s assistance in identifying the man accused of the assault.
