Nigeria’s senior team head coach, Gernot Rohr has swung in to support Super Eagles striker, Ahmed Musa after the striker clashed with his coach at CSKA Moscow.
Musa was apparently unhappy when he was substituted in a league match against Dynamo and he refused to shake hands with his coach Viktor Goncharenko which generated heart at the Capital Clubs Rohr said Musa was a discipline player who has never had a negative impact on the Super Eagles .
Rohr said: “We do not know what happened between Musa and Goncharenko, so we cannot comment on the incident with the handshake”. I will only note that Ahmed is a very disciplined player and an important member of the Nigerian national team. This is one of our most experienced players, the team leader. Never before has he been seen in the negative impact on our team.”
