A 15-year-old boy, who hacked his 22-year-old brother to death with a machete has finally been arrested after parents tried to hide the crime secretly by buring the deceased without notifying the authorities. As reported by iharare, the teenager allegedly attacked his older brother after an argument over cattle. The two got into an altercation after which the younger brother refused to go and fetch their grazing cattle, this resulted in the older brother beating him with a switch. 
Not happy with the treatment he received, the younger brother went and armed himself with a machete and struck his older brother twice while he was unaware.The brother died two days later as a result of the injuries at the hospital, to which their parents decided to bury him secretly. However, someone, who knew about the incident tipped off the police which led to the arrest of the teenager. 
Masvingo police spokesperson Chief Inspector Charity Mazula , was quoted to have said that: “I can confirm receiving a report of murder involving a juvenile who killed his brother with a machete over fetching cattle from the grazing area. The boy has since been arrested and will appear in court soon facing a murder charge.
