The 8th largest exporter of crude oil in the world, Nigeria, has stunned the entire planet by rising to the top of the list of World largest importers of petrol in the world.
In a world where crude oil giants are never expected to import petrol, Nigeria has once again drowned herself in a shambolic waste of extremely available resources by literally importing a refined product of one of her most available natural resources.
This pathetic turn of events is an A-list product of the ridiculous mass of corruption that has engulfed this nation since thew first day we discovered crude oil in Nigeria
The Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Maikanti Baru, disclosed the new turn of events in Abuja yesterday. He said: “Nigeria is the only member country in the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) that imports petrol and is currently the largest importer of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) in the world.”
