Aisha Abimbola to be buried in Canada today.

Nigerian actress, Aisha Abimbola popularly known as Omoge Campus will be laid to rest in Canada at 8:30pm (CAT) on May 17, 2018 according to a statement by actor Saidi Balogun, who’s also the the president of The Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria (TGMAN). Aisha was the vice president of TGMAN until her death.

“Amb. AISHA ABIMBOLA( omoge campus) TGMAN Vice President. Will be laid to rest today, Thursday the 17th May 2018. By 2:30 pm Canadian time which is 8:30pm Nigerian time. This is being handled in conjuction with the Canadian government and families of the deceased based in Canada and TGMAN,” the statement reads.

Saidi also revealed that a candle light procession/artiste night will be held in Aisha’s honour on Thursday (May 24), while the Fidau prayers will be offered on Friday May 25, 2018. However, information on the venues for the other ceremonies are yet to be confirmed.

Aisha Abimbola reportedly died from complications arising from breast cancer on May 15 in Canada. She was aged 46.
