Davido Performs With A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie At Hot97’s Summer Jam – Watch Here!

Davido just represented Africa at the 25th anniversary of Hot 97’s Summer Jam.

The powerful musical concert went down at the MetLife Stadium with superstar performers including Meek Mill, Kendrick Lamar, Lil Wayne, Swizz Beatz, Tory Lanez, ASAP Ferg, Remy Ma, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Fat Joe, Rich The Kid, and more. Even the rain did not stop hip hop fans and enthusiasts from packing out Metlife Stadium at the Meadowlands in New Jersey for the unforgettable night which Meek Mill made surprise appearance shortly after returning home from prison, and Lil Wayne also took the stage following the announcement that he has reached a settlement with Birdman and Cash Money Records, ending their long-standing legal dispute.

American rapper, A-Boogie Wit Da Hoodie who took the stage to perform some of his hits in the afternoon at the Metlife Stadium, surprised the surprised spectators at the 82,500 capacity stadium as he brought Nigerian pop star Davido out to perform their single “Way Too Fly.”

An emotional Davido, earlier teased his fans of the Summer Jam performance, tweeting: “Can’t believe I’m performing at @hot97 SUMMER JAM today !!! Can you Guess who’s bringing me out?? ???? ?… Africa let’s represent !!” He added: “ALL MY AFRICANS CARRIBEANS AMERICANS MEET ME AT SUMMER JAM NEW YORK TODAY!! MAIN STAGE!! WE SHUTTING IT DOWN!! Ahhh!!??????????????!!”

Davido’s performance at the Summer Jam is one for the record, as he’s been listed as performer alongside Nicki Minaj, Post Malone, Meek Mill, Diplo, Miguel, Janelle Monáe, Alessia Cara and more for the 2018 Made in America Festival scheduled for September 1-2 at Benjamin Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia, US. Davido will also be sharing stage with One MusicFest 2018 headliners – Nas, Cardi B and Miguel – for the two-day celebration of live music billed to take place at Central Park in New York on September 8-9.
