After taking a gap year, Malia Obama has officially kicked off her college career. The 19-year-old former First Daughter moved into her Harvard University dorm on Monday with the help of her parents, Barack and Michelle. Despite the former First Family’s presence on campus, nobody rushed toward her or tried to get her attention according to reports. Malia even politely declined a requests for an interview with a handshake.
Malia, who’s in Harvard’s class of 2021, has a week to get acquainted with her new school before classes officially start on August 30. After getting settled, the teen was seen chatting with some new friends while casually dressed in a babydoll dress, Alexander Wang graphic tee, gray socks and white sneakers.
