 A windstorm has left three persons dead and 28 others injured after it some communities in Sokoto state. Reports have it that no fewer than 158 others were displaced after the devastating windstorm disaster in seven communities of Goronyo and Gada Local Government Areas in Sokoto state.
Quite a number of buildings including a worship center and other structures were damaged in the storm. The communities affected include; Tsitse, Karangiya, Bassana, Goronyo, Shinaka, Giyawa and Taloka. More photos below;
