The Confederation of African Football has named 34 contenders for 2018’s African Footballer of the Year award and three Nigerian stars have been shortlisted, including Arsenal Star Alex Iwobi. The award ceremony that is set for Dakar, Senegal on Tuesday, 8 January 2019, will see to the celebration of excellence by African Football players. Asides Alex Iwobi, Al Nassr’s Ahmed Musa and Chinese based forward are the other Super Eagles players who made the 34 man list.
