Lewis Hamilton won the Saudi Arabia Grand Prix to move level on points with Max Verstappen in the drivers’ standings in one of the all-time great Formula 1 races.
In one of the most incredible races in recent memory, the drivers were forced to return to the pits on TWO separate occasions after red flags were waved.
Prior to the first restart Verstappen led Hamilton having not yet pitted during the race.
Hamilton then looked to have passed Verstappen at the restart before the Dutchman went over the curb to try and defend the lead.
Verstappen was then penalised for the move but not before Sergio Perez and Nikita Mazepin crashed to signal another red flag.
A second restart then saw Verstappen come from behind Esteban Ocon and Hamilton to retake the lead.
But the Brit would eventually get back in front of his title rival in the latter stages of the race to move level on points in the standings.
