Heard of Banana Bread? I was so excited coming across this a few months ago and I immediately knew I would share it with my dearest KOKOFoodies but for one reason or the other, I have not. Let’s just say the time is right and perfect for the wonder easy homemade loaf.
It is not a surprise that we can make bread from Banana, is it? Since there is wheat bread and every other variety, this is not an and should not be an exception.Banana bread is a type of bread made from mashed bananas. It is often a moist, sweet, cake-like quick bread. It is perfect with a cold glass of milk, hot coffee, tea or just eat as is! Speaking on the nutritional value, bananas are among the world’s most commonly consumed fruits. Primarily composed of carbs, they contain decent amounts of several vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. Potassium, vitamin C, catechin, and resistant starch are among their healthy nutrients.
The many examples I have seen have some some chopped pecans for a little extra crunch and as I always preach, you can add your own tweak, depending on how healthy you want to eat. Some raisins, craisins or walnuts or other types of nuts may be the tweak you want to add to your recipe. That being said, Banana Bread is a very great food item you can produce at the comfort of your kitchen, provided you have an over or handmade heated sand and pot. Now let’s go, How to make our food item for the day!
Grease the baking pan with some butter then coat it with some flour and set aside
Cream the sugar and butter until it’s combined then add the eggs and mix together till smoothly blended and set aside.
In another bowl, mash together 4 large ripe bananas and set aside as well.
In a bigger bowl that can contain all the ingredients at once, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda and a pinch of salt (if not using salted Butter) together to smoothen.
