Political activist Reno Omokri has schooled Christians on the issue of paying tithe and how it should be done. The activist took to social media to share that a pastor tells Christians that when they pay their 10% they receive divine protection but the pastor moves around with armed security so it is either he doesn’t believe in his message or doesn’t tithe.
He explained that divine protection comes by faith, not by tithe and God-ordained a day for people to be born or die so Tithe or no tithe, no one can kill a person before that day. The social commentator explained that Christ never collected tithes neither did his disciples. Reno stated that Levites collected tithes because they were prevented from working by God and pastors are not Levites.
