Chelsea have signed goalkeeper Edouard Mendy from French side, Rennes for £22m on a five-year deal.
The 28-year-old becomes the Blues seventh first-team signing of the summer.
The Senegalese international will now compete with Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero for a starting place posts in the season ahead.
Speaking about the move, Mendy said: “I am so excited to be joining Chelsea. It’s a dream for me to be a part of this exciting squad and to work with Frank Lampard and all of his coaching staff.
