I Worked As A Plumber 30 Years Ago – Sanwo-Olu

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday revealed he worked as a plumber about 30 years ago.

Sanwo-Olu revealed this while speaking with 6,252 graduands of the 18 skill acquisition centres in the state.

According to the governor, youths and women should engage in vocational skills and become employers of labour instead of searching endlessly for jobs. He assured them of his support, advising that they continue to improve their skills and grow their businesses.

Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Cecilia Dada said the graduands would receive the Lagos State Technical and Vocational Education Board certificates which could grant them transition into any of the state technical colleges for further training.Photo Credit: Getty
