There are new trends that are being embraced this year.

With a lot of beauty waves taken over from the past summer, there are new trends that are being embraced this year that we feel will be here for a very long time.

Thumb Print Eyeliner

A swift change from shadows to eyeliner, the thumbprint eyeliner is a trend that has finally come to stay. The cat-eye form has given way to the new thumbprint eyeliner, which has features the total covering of the upper corner of the eye as opposed to the cat-eyeliner. This new beauty trend, was portrayed in various fashion weeks, locally and internationally.

Nude Lips

Gone are the days when heavy and full lip defining lipsticks/glosses were in vogue. Theses days, a light but obvious nude or faint coloured lip gloss/stick would do the trick. The only lip colour to never go out of fashion remains the red lip. it is perfect for any occasion, however, it can also be toned down to fit the appropriate amount or shade desired. A nude lip gloss/lipstick is a must have for any beauty lover.

Beauty Oils

Beauty oils have gradually warmed their ways into the heart of ardent beauty trend followers. The use of these oils cover a whole range of different purposes. Some are used to lock in moisture, others are used to keep the glow, while some are better utilised as anti-ageing mixtures. Beauty oils are affordable and most often times than not, present that perfect look desired.

 Glossy Shadows

The glossy and shimmering shadows are also in vogue now. This eye glitters define all other elements of the facial makeup. They come in different forms and can be used to add that ‘shiny’ effect to perfect that already glowing look. Some beauty lovers can never get enough of this trend.

Facial Mask

To achieve that perfect look can be somewhat a herculean task. Facial masks can never go out of fashion. It serves as the base of any beauty routine.
