We’ve always suspected it and now it’s been confirmed. Actually, we never did. That little bit of evidence flew right over our head. But the Adekunle-Simi cat has been let out of the bag. At least partially. Today marks Simi’s 29th birthday and in usual sentimental mood of celebrants, the singer went over the top. For her, it was by listing out all her names as she wished herself a happy birthday.
All that was needed was to connect the dots. Apparently, those were the same names included in Adekunle Gold’s “Orente” hit track and with the constant rumour of a relationship between the pair, it didn’t take a long time before fans confronted Adekunle with the observation. And in his own words, he confessed willingly that he “wrote it for her.” ‘Nuff said! Mic dropped!
