A United States court has, called for the arrest of the embattled Deputy Commissioner of Police in Nigeria, Abba Kyari, for his connection with Hushpuppi’s case.
Ramon ‘Hushpuppi’ Abbas, the infamous Nigerian big boy who is facing multiple counts charge bordering on fraud and money laundering had named the celebrated police chief Abba Kyari in his cases, revealing how he had bribed him as he recently pleaded guilty in the United States.
Abba Kyari has, however, in a Facebook post, come out to deny the allegations sharing his own part of the story. According to him, Hushpuppi reached out to the police claiming that someone was after his family life in Nigeria and also sent a number pleading to the police to reach the person before they attack his family, only for the Police to find out there was no threat. New media reports have it, that the US has now ordered Abba Kyari’s arrest. According to The PUNCH, Otis Wright of the United States District Court for the Central District of California ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation to track down Kyari and produce him in the United States for his role in a multi-million dollar fraud perpetrated by Hushpuppi.
