Ondo APC Rejects NDDC Nominee, Kolade Akinjo
The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State has rejected the nomination of Kolade Victor Akinjo as the State Representative on the governing board of Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Leaders of the party, in a virtual meeting on Wednesday, however, commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the appointment of Hon. Ifedayo Abegunde, as the Executive Director, Corporate Services of the Commission.
The State Chairman, Ade Adetimehin, presided over the well-attended emergency meeting.
The APC chieftains, who reaffirmed loyalty to the president, applauded his efforts to rebuild the economy in the interest of every Nigerian.

In other news, The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State has expelled a former factional chairman of the party, Alhaji Rasak Salinsile, the current Commissioner for Political and Inter-governmental Affairs in the state, Comrade Biyi Odunlade, Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Children Affairs, Mrs Sekinat Temilade Olokungboye and 81 others from the party.

State Chairman of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal said the decision followed complaints of anti-party activities which the State Executive Committee of the APC constituted a disciplinary committee to investigate the allegations against some members.

A statement signed on Wednesday night and made available to KOKO TV NG by Lawal, noted that the disciplinary measure came in response to the allegations of misconduct and actions that embarrassed and brought the party to disrepute.
The Chairman said the disciplinary committee undertook a thorough and impartial review of the allegations and the findings were carefully deliberated upon by the State Executive Committee.
