My Life Story: I Don’t Support Marriage Between AS And SS – Sickle Cell Survivor, Joy Omowunmi
A first-class graduate from the University of Lagos (Unilag) Joy Omowunmi who is a sickle cell survivor has made it known that she will not be supporting marriage between AS and SS on My Life Story.

Joy Omowunmi was featured as the first guest on KOKO Docuseries; My Life Story and she revealed her success journey and what was her motivation in the midst of all her sickle cell crisis.

The young star stated that she is scared of marriage and she hasn’t really given it much thought because bringing children into this world is a big deal. Joy Omowunmi also pointed out that yes she is SS, but she doesn’t support marriage between AS and SS because it is the child that will suffer at the end of the day.

She said, I don’t support it at all, because you’re bringing an innocent child into this world that its not like you consulted the child that should we do this, should we go ahead to do this. So its the child that is going to suffer all of what, all of the consequences of what you did. It’s better not to bring a child to, if you are AS you shouldn’t get married to AS and bring a child into this world. Except if you plan to adopt kids or don’t have kids through the biological means.
