Messi Reaches 800th Goal With Free Kick Goal
Lionel Messi has reached the 800th goal mark with a stunning free kick goal against Panama.

Argentina, the reigning World Champions were in action for the first time since their World Cup win in Qatar 2022 on Friday against Panama.

The line-up for the match was the same as the team that played in the finals against former champions, France as Messi was on the scoresheet again to attain the 800 career goal mark.
After a slow start to the game, the Argentines broke the deadlock in the 78th minute with a neat pass from Leandro Paredes finding Thiago Almeida who slotted in a fine finish.
Right after the Almeida goal, the Argentines won a free kick, handing the Paris Saint-Germain attacker the opportunity to reach the milestone as he curled a beautiful shot into the top right corner.

The PSG star’s strike against Panama was his 800th career goal in his legendary career after scoring his 799th against Nantes in the Ligue 1.
