KOKOnista Of The Day: Actress Ebony Obsidian Unapologetically Oozes African Beauty
Most people may have seen Ebony Obsidian acting alongside Regina King and Angela Bassett, but they barely know a thing about the actress.

Ebony Obsidian was born and raised in New Paltz, New York. She is of Eritrean Habesha descent and trained at the William Esper Studio. While training at the William Esper Studio, she began acting in independent films, including The Vixens and Where Hearts Lie opposite Malik Yoba and Clifton Powell.

In 2015, Obsidian starred in Tough Love, a web series that aired on YouTube. In 2018, Obsidian co-starred in the drama film If Beale Street Could Talk, playing the lead character’s sister.
In 2019, Obsidian starred in the Hulu miniseries Wu-Tang: An American Saga. Later that year, she began starring in the BET comedy-drama series, Sistas.
Her latest series is Tyler Perry’s “Sistas” in which she will star as Karen Mott. Since it premiered on October 23, 2019, the actress has raised a lot of curiosity so here is everything you need to know about her.
