Keke Driver Stoned To Death For Killing Passenger Over N50
A keke driver was on Wednesday killed by a mob in the Kpansia area of the Yenagoa metropolis in Bayelsa State.

The mob action followed the alleged stabbing to death of a young man by the keke driver of the tricycle, also called Keke.
The Keke rider was said to have stabbed the unidentified young man to death after they had an argument over N50 change. The victim died on the spot.

Angered by his action, some residents around the scene attacked and lynched the Keke rider to death with stones.
The identities of the deceased men could not be ascertained as of the time of filing this report.
Meanwhile, the Bayelsa State Police Command has confirmed the incidents.

The command, in a statement by its spokesperson, Asinim Butswat, also condemned the murder of the youth by the Keke rider as well as his lynching.
