Coronavirus: Why Are We Not Closing Our Borders – Tiwa Savage Wonders As Lagos Confirms 3rd Case
Lagos State has confirmed her third case of Coronavirus and songstress Tiwa Savage is wondering why the nation is not closing her borders yet.
The State Ministry of Health and the Commissioner for Health Prof. Akin Abayomi, announced the third case via their Twitter handle, dishing out information about the infected person. The 30-year-old woman was said to have just flown back to Nigeria from UK when she developed the symptoms. She had observed the self-isolation and is currently receiving treatment at Mainland GH.
Reacting angrily, Tiwa Savage took to her Instastories to wonder why the FG is not closing the country’s borders and banning travellers from coming in before the outbreak becomes worse.

She noted further that as much as Nigerians cannot be stopped from coming in to the country, there should however, be a means and system in place where they can be isolated upon arrival and be tested, in the stead of risking them coming in contact with others before finding out.
