Coming Back Is The Best Decision, It Was The Right Time – Ronaldo Says On Return To Man United

Portuguese captain and returning Manchester United legend, Cristiano Ronaldo has said that coming back to Manchester United is the “best decision” he could’ve made at the point in his career.

The legendary Manchester United number 7, signed from Juventus to join Man United during the summer transfer window, scoring a brace on his second debut for the Red Devils as they defeated the Magpies, 4-1 on Saturday, September 11.

Before joining United,  Manchester City had looked set to sign him. Ronaldo has now stated that he hopes to help guide United to win silverware.

“It’s the best decision I’ve made. It was the right time,” Ronaldo said in an interview with Telefoot.
“I want to make history, help Manchester to have great results, and win trophies.”

Manchester United now turn their attention to the Champions League as they prepare to take on Swiss side Young Boys in their first game of the group stage on Tuesday, September 24.
