Chef Emeka’s Family Release Statement, Asks For Patience And Prayers

The family of the murdered popular Abuja culinary professional Chef Emeka Eloagu, has released a statement to further confirm his death, asking the public to exercise patience while the Police concludes her investigations.

Recall that Chef Emeka’s friends and acquaintances have taken to social media to let out their grieve, giving their various accounts and reports of what happened. The Police have immediately launched into investigations and five suspects have been arrested.

Releasing the statement on behalf of the family the deceased’s brother Ikechi Vincent- Eloagu said his brother served his exclusive clientele across the country with his skills. “It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our brother, son, husband, minister of God and Abuja’s favorite chef, Emeka Vincent Eloagu —popularly known as Chef Emeka as a result of an attack on him in his residence”, the statement began. The Head Chef and CEO of Helen’s Restaurant, an author and teacher in a culinary world, Emeka served his exclusive clientele across the country with his skills, and cooked for premium and luxury events from Lagos to New York. He alongside other notable chefs dedicated their craft to bringing global attention to Nigerian cuisine around the world”.

“Aged 37, he is survived by his wife, Chidinma Vincent-Eloagu nee Okebalama, sisters, brothers, and his aged mother. Emeka is described by all who know and love him as a gentle soul. In her words of his wife, “He never hurt nobody. Emeka is the best guy!” We implore friends, well wishers and the general public to please be patient until the ongoing police investigations are over and we can all have a clear knowledge of what happened. Our hearts are shattered, but we trust in the Lord. We ask that you keep us in your prayers and respect our privacy at this time”, the statement added.
