2023: APC Postpones Election Campaign Indefinitely
The Presidential Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress has postponed the commencement of its campaigns earlier scheduled for Wednesday.
This was disclosed by the Director-General of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council and Governor of Plateau State, Simon Lalong, in a statement on Tuesday.

In the statement, Lalong explained that the adjustment of the timetable was a result of the move to expand the campaign council list to accommodate more stakeholders.

He said that a new date for the kick-off of the campaign would be made public soon.
The Tinubu campaign list is creating a bit of a stir, both within the APC and the PDP. The name of the vice president, Professor Yemi Osibanjo and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha was missing from the list.

Moreso, the APC controversially included the name of PDP’s Chimaroke Nnamani on the campaign list. The Spokesperson of the APC campaign Organisation, Festus Kenyamo stated that the inclusion of Nnamani in the list was not a mistake but a deliberate action.
