Akeredolu Begins 15-Day Leave

Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, Ondo State Governor has begun a 15-day working vacation.

The vacation is said to be the first installment of his annual leave which commenced April 3rd, 2023.

The Ondo State Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Richard Olatunde disclosed this in a statement made available to pressmen, he pointed out that the leave which started on April 3rd, is set to end April 25th.

Olatunde said a letter to that effect had been transmitted to the state House of Assembly.

With Akeredolu on a working vacation, Deputy Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa will take charge of the affairs of the state pending the expiration of the Ondo State Governor’s leave.

The statement read, “Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, CON, today, Monday, April 3, 2023, proceeds on a 15-working-day vacation as the first instalment of his 2023 annual leave.”

“While Governor Akeredolu is away on vacation, the Deputy Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, will perform the functions of the office of the Governor.”
