The government of the United Kingdom (UK) has announced that football and sports fans would be allowed to resume to stadium from October 1.
This was disclosed in a letter written to a Conservative MP from the Department of Culture, Media and Sport.
According to the letter, the number of fans will now be reduced to around 1,000 - 2,500, as against the initial plans for up to 30 percent of a venue.
The letter reads in part, “I know how important this is for sports clubs for whom paying spectators are vital,’ Huddleston wrote to Crouch.
